Due to the hurricane, I had to travel back to NC. I have been homebound for over a year now, so I was extremely apprehensive to travel. I feared that my health wouldn’t allow me to do what I needed to do.
But God has given me the strength to travel and visit!
I had the wonderful privilege to stay with my aunt and uncle here in NC.
During my visit, my aunt shared with me some writings, poems and songs she’s composed! I was amazed to see how much talent she has! She has given me permission to share a song she wrote.
This song really struck a cord in my heart. I feel it echoes the true desire in my heart.

“Make me a Witness” By: Patricia Dixon-Williams
What can I do, Dear Lord? Make me a witness, Lord- to help when the lost for you. What Can I do?
There are so many down and wearing frowns. Their life is incomplete, if only they knew Jesus could give them life. In Him, there is no strife. He’ll give you a smile to wear and some joy too.
What can I do dear Lord, Make me a witness Lord! To help win the lost for you. What can I do?
Where ever I go, Dear Lord- Make me a witness Lord. Give me the boldness, I pray to help someone find their way.
I want to tell the world, Jesus is all we need. He’ll make your life complete and set you free.
What can I do, Dear Lord? Make me a witness Lord! To help win the lost for you. What can I do?
Thanks Aunt Patricia for letting me share your gift with my blog followers!
